Guidance for enrolling in a course, running your HC365 membership and keeping your CPD record up to date.
Enrolling in a course and paying
Start from the course you want on the HealthCert website and choose Enrol Now. That opens Select your courses, where you can add or remove the courses and workshops you want and see the price update as you go.
- Pick your courses and any workshop dates, then continue to your cart.
- In the cart, check the Order Summary. This is where you set your currency, tell us if you are a student or scholarship holder, and enter your practice's ABN if you have one — Australian GST is worked out from those details.
- Enter any Coupon code and choose Apply. The discount appears in the summary straight away, and you can remove it again if you change your mind.
- Choose Proceed to Checkout and pick a payment method.
Pay by Credit Card confirms your enrolment straight away. If bank transfer is offered for your order, Pay by Bank Transfer shows our bank details and confirms your enrolment once the funds arrive, so allow a few days.
After payment you land on a confirmation page with your order number and a receipt by email. If you checked out as a guest, choose Complete Your Details to fill in your personal and practice details and CPD numbers, then create your login — your purchase is linked to the new account automatically.
Paying by installments
Where a course supports it, checkout offers Pay in Installments alongside Pay in Full. You pay the first amount today and the rest in monthly payments.
- Before you pay, the Payment Schedule lists every payment with its date and amount, plus the plan total, so you can see exactly what will be charged and when.
- Installments are credit card only. If you want to pay by bank transfer, switch back to full payment.
- Later payments are taken automatically from the same card on the dates shown — you don't need to come back and pay them manually.
- Your confirmation page and confirmation email repeat the schedule, and you can see it again on the order in My Orders.
You can change the card behind a payment plan yourself at any time: open the order in My Orders and choose Update Card next to the payment schedule. Saving a card is not a payment — nothing is charged that day, and your remaining installments are simply taken from the new card on the dates already shown. Worth doing as soon as you know your card is expiring or has been replaced.
If a scheduled payment doesn't go through — an expired card is the usual reason — we'll email you a secure link to enter a new card. You can use Update Card in My Orders instead; either way we retry the outstanding payment on the new card and email you a receipt.
Your HC365 membership
HC365 is our annual membership: it gives you access to the included CPD activities and keeps your CPD record in one place. You can sign up from the membership page, or from the activity list — if you pick activities before you have a membership, we keep your selection and set the membership up first.
Once you are signed in, everything lives under Subscriptions in your dashboard:
- Your membership, its status (Active, Past Due, Cancelled or Expired), your plan, your start date and your Next Billing date.
- Change Plan to move between monthly and annual. We take account of what you have already paid for the current period.
- Cancel Subscription to stop future renewals. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep access until then.
Renewals are charged automatically to the card you agreed to at sign-up. If a renewal fails we email you, mark the membership Past Due, and keep retrying for a while — your access continues through the period you have paid for.
Updating your payment card
You can change your card at any time — you don't need to wait for a payment to fail. Sign in, open Subscriptions and choose Update Card on your membership, then Enter a new card, fill in the card details and choose Save Card. This is the quickest way to handle a card that is about to expire or one that has been replaced by your bank.
Saving a card is not a payment: nothing is charged when you update it, and your next membership payment is simply taken from the new card on its usual date.
If a membership payment has already failed, the email we send you also includes an Update payment method button. It opens the same secure card form for your membership without signing in. Once the card is saved we retry the outstanding payment shortly afterwards and email you a receipt — there is nothing else you need to do.
Card details are captured by our payment provider, not stored by HealthCert — so please never send us a card number by email.
Recording CPD activities
Your CPD Dashboard is the home for your record. It shows your total hours and points, activities completed and hours remaining, along with your progress against your college's requirements. Use the date and provider filters to look at a particular year or triennium, and Export PDF when you need a copy for your college.
There are two ways activities reach your record.
Activities included with your membership
Choose Browse CPD Activities, search or filter the list, tick the activities you want and choose Enrol in selected activities. There is nothing more to pay. Enrolling is not the same as completing: activities appear on your dashboard as enrolled, and hours count once you have finished them and the completion comes through.
CPD you have done elsewhere
Choose Add Activity and complete Add CPD Activity. A title and a completed date are required; the provider, category, hours and points determine how the activity counts towards your requirements. Save with Create Activity.
You can reopen an activity you added yourself to edit or delete it. Activities that came from a course or from your college are shown as read-only, because they are maintained by the provider that sent them.
Attaching evidence to an activity
Open an activity from your dashboard and scroll to Evidence. Choose Attach a file and pick your certificate, receipt or attendance confirmation. You can attach evidence to any activity on your record, including ones that came from a course.
- Accepted files are PDF, PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, WEBP, DOC and DOCX, up to 10 MB.
- One file can be attached to each activity. To swap it, choose Remove and then attach the new one. If you have several documents, combine them into a single PDF first.
- Download gives you back the file you attached, so you can check it is the right one.
- A newly added activity is sent to the CPD system first. If you see a message saying the record is still being sent, wait a moment and refresh — the attach control appears once that finishes.
Your account and orders
Sign in with the email address you used when you enrolled. Your purchases, including their payment schedules, are under My Orders, and your contact, practice and CPD details are under Profile — keeping your CPD numbers there is what lets us report your hours to your college.
If you enrolled as a guest and later created a login with the same email address, your earlier orders are attached to that account automatically. If you can't see an order you expect, it was most likely bought under a different email address — contact us and we'll join them up.
Still need a hand?
If your question isn't answered above, contact us at admin@healthcert.com. Including your order number, or the email address you enrolled with, helps us find your record quickly.
